This project would take movie making and inject it into reality, creating different roles and story settings—for example chairmen, Indian housewives, beggars, and animals—building a small scale environment, finding appropriate actors working with me to play out fixed 10-minute plots which people would be invited into to play out stories. From there, with no direction, the person in question would use their own personality to fill their new role; then, through stepping out of their character and becoming a simple observer, they can see how their values differ as they play out different roles.
這個計畫旨在將電影製作的手法注入現實生活，創造出不同的角色和故事背景。
例如，我們可以設定董事長、印度家庭主婦、乞丐或動物等角色，建構一個小型的環境場景，並尋找合適的演員與我一同演出固定的十分鐘情節。隨後，我們將邀請公眾進入這個場景來扮演故事。從此時起，沒有任何指導，參與者將運用自身的個性來填滿他們的新角色。接著，透過跳脫角色、成為單純的觀察者，他們得以審視自己扮演不同角色時，其價值觀如何產生變化。
PRODUCTION
In terms of physical setup, this piece would require the design of a two-level theatrical space in which could be created a simulated world. On the outside walls of the space, billboard-like screens would show live broadcasts of what is happening inside. In terms of scripting, each 10-minute script would be tailored to each participant, with different responses planned out for their different potential reactions. Performances would be in a constant stream of 10-minute shows.
